Is buying YouTube views safe? Monetisation, watch time and what actually happens
Views alone do not get a channel banned, but the wrong kind can wreck your analytics and your Partner Program application. Here is how to tell the difference.
YouTube
YouTube is stricter than Instagram about one thing: it removes views it decides are fake, and it does so publicly, so a video can lose a chunk of its count overnight. That makes the question of how views are delivered more important than whether to buy them at all.
The rule, in plain terms
YouTube's policy targets "artificial" views: bots, auto-refresh, click farms that never watch. It filters those out, sometimes days later, and repeated abuse can lead to a strike. Views from real devices where the video actually plays are counted like any other view, because YouTube cannot and does not distinguish why someone pressed play.
Why cheap views are worse than no views
- They get removed. A count that jumps to 50,000 and falls to 8,000 looks worse than 8,000 that stayed.
- They wreck retention. Bot views last a few seconds. Your average view duration collapses, and every ranker reads that as "people hate this video".
- They poison the analytics you need to make better videos.
The tell is always the same: instant delivery of huge amounts at a price that could not possibly pay for real playback.
Monetisation and the Partner Program
The Partner Program requires 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 public watch hours or 10 million Shorts views. Watch hours come from watch time, which bot views do not provide. Real-device views delivered gradually do count, but do not buy views to "reach 4,000 hours"; buy them to give videos a start and let the hours come from the audience that stays. Monetisation reviews look at where traffic came from, and a channel whose entire history is bought traffic with no organic follow-on is an obvious reject.
The safe way to buy views
- Real devices, real playback, gradual delivery over hours or days.
- Amounts in proportion to your channel. 5,000 views on a video from a 200-subscriber channel is a push; 500,000 is a flag.
- Buy for the videos that deserve it: your best, newest, most searchable.
- Keep making videos. Views on one video are a start, not a strategy.
- Public link only. No service needs your Google login for anything.
What we do
Our views come from real sessions and arrive steadily, the order page shows progress, and drops within the warranty window are refilled. YouTube views on Celebboost work exactly this way.
